Comfort…

What do you do when you begin to see yourself slip into comfort? That’s a question no one truly wants to answer. Comfort may appear to relax you but it really traps you. You become lazy to the point of no escape. Then you ask yourself, how did I get here? Like Deborah Cox says “Nobody’s supposed to be here”

Comfort, it’s a place where you watch life pass you by if you aren’t carful. A place where change and growth collide. Comfort, why do you appear to make me feel so good? When in return you are keeping me bound. Comfort, you are so contradicting to destiny at times. Comfort…

What are you so comfortable with that keeps you in a place of complacency?

Let’s examine that today! Let’s strive for growth beyond our comfort zones and see what God has in store!

  1. Great topic. Many of us can absolutely relate to being comfortable and complacent in life, love, etc. It is the dream killer, unless we overcome it.
