Let me tell you one thing! Motherhood is one the best parts of my purpose. Being a mother is truly a miracle. The whole process is a beautiful expression of God showing He is still God and only He can give live.

While I was pregnant I studied the conception process, the process of carrying a child, giving birth to a child and afterbirth. This helped me realize that God is mind blowing. Only He can bless us to birth a baby.

Now let me tell you a little about my process. I received word that I would have issues conceiving a child from an OBGYN doctor. I was in my in my thirties and knew I wanted a child. So…yes my partner and I started trying because I refused to believe what the doctor said. I did not care if I was married or not. I knew that I was meant to have a child. Even though this decision went against everything I was taught growing up as a Christian. I made the decision to try.

This reminds me of the story of Sarah when I think of my choice. Check out Genesis 16- 21! Sarah took matters in her own hands to get a child and God still blessed her with her promised child.

Finally I received my news that I was expecting! Overall I had a great pregnancy. I went through some challenges but everything worked out. My son arrived as God planned during a pandemic. I had Covid during my pregnancy but everything worked out!

Once my son was birthed he had to stay in NICU for breathing issues. I literally had to leave my child after finally giving birth to him. That was one of the hardest moments I encountered but God got me through it. Those were six of the longest days of my life but God still showed himself strong!

Motherhood… It is truly a miracle regardless of how your story begins. I am not telling you to do what I did but just sharing that God can use any scenario for his purpose. I want to remind everyone that God is in control of it all! He is a miracle worker! God loves us and will use our journeys regardless of what mistake(s) you made. He is still in control of our destiny.

I love being a mother. It has taught me the beauty of God in the most miraculous way! Mommies keep enjoying your journey! God is in control and he got you!
