It took a lot for me to get to the place where I am unapologetically unashamed. Let me break this down for you.
I am unapologetically unashamed of my faith walk. I can shout at the top of my lungs that I am walking this walk and no one can stop me.
Now when I was living my life and doing what I wanted to do I chose to show off all my bad choices and flashed my poor decisions. Since I rededicated my life to God I made the choice to do the same for my faith walk.
Just a quick back story about me. I grew up as a Preachers Kid and I have been in church most of my life. At a point in my life I hated God and wanted nothing to with Him or church. I figured the whole Christianity thing was a waste of time and it wasn’t real. So as many other preachers kids can relate the whole God thing got old.
Fast forward to my life in this very moment. I have been through several twist and turns with my faith walk. I can truly say that this time around is the best.
I can look back over my life and see that all of my choices brought me to this moment. The constant in my life regardless of if I was walking with God or walking away from Him has been God. Deuteronomy 31:6 expresses that God never leaves me.
So this go around I choose to be unapologetically unashamed about my love and devotion to God. He has been there for me when no one else has, he has kept me safe, he listened to my complaints, basically he has never given up on me. So, now I can’t give up on him. He deserves my best!
I shout unapologetically unashamed that I love God! There is no changing that! What about you? Will you stand for God in this world? Will you be the difference? Unapologetically unashamed….
