Take the Cape Off

As a mother and a woman I spend so much time planning and prepping my days in advance. I pride myself in staying organized in my personal life and work life. It’s a must for me to make sure everything flows smoothly. I honestly don’t like surprises. I like being aware and staying ahead.

Lately I have pushed myself to be grounded and present for myself. I allowed myself to feel and journal my thoughts again. It is so therapeutic. As I deal with myself I become better for everyone else around me.

I don’t have to be super woman ever moment of the day. I can take my cape off at anytime. I can go to God in confidence and let my guard down. I can go to trusted friends and breath. I can sit with myself and allow my thoughts to free me.

What a blessing it is to let go of everything that appears to weigh us down. It is a must. Walking around with your armor on all day gets heavy. You have to take it off. The weight is too heavy.

Replace your own armor with Gods armor because that’s where your strength comes from. But that’s a whole other blog…

Take the cape off…
