Friends

As I grow older I realize the meaning of true friendship. I have built friendships that I still have today. The bonds I built over the years are remarkable.

I gained friendships from every phase in my life. Such as high school, college, careers, and church. God knew exactly what I needed.

I am blessed to still have these connections. They mean so much to me. Each friend holds a different place in my heart. I cherish my friendships.

While developing friendships I learned it is easy to make friends and keep friends if you are a good friend.

As a friend, I had to examine myself first. I asked myself. Do I give off friendly vibes? Am I approachable? Do I genuinely care about building relationships? Will I make a good friend?

In order to gain a real friend and keep those relationships you have to become a good friend. A good friend is selfless, caring, non-judgmental, honest, trustworthy, loving, patient, a good listener, motivating and eager to grow with you.

I challenge you to ask yourself these questions. Am I a good friend? How can I improve as a friend? What can I do for my friends this year that I didn’t do last year?

Being a friend is so easy if you have the right mindset. The lasting friendships I have are remarkable because I am remarkable. I attract the friends I need because I am the friend they need. My friendships are priceless and I would not trade them for anyone else.

I love my friends! You know who you are. I am forever grateful for our friendship.

Friends…
