No Fear!

As a child I was afraid of fiction stories or ideas. For example I was afraid of monsters underneath my bed or the Boogie Man. I eventually realized that all of this was not real and it was a figment of my imagination. The monsters and Boggie Man could not get me.

Fear is something that everyone deals with. As an adult fear comes in a lot of different ways. It can hold you back from accomplishing what is meant for your life. Fear can block your path if you allow it.

Just like I realized as a child that monsters were not real. It is the same with fear. The doubts and concerns associated with fear are not real. It is a figment of your imagination. It’s a thought that grows and grows until you are bound by the thought.

Last year I stopped working on a major project because of fear. I was afraid that my story didn’t matter. I was afraid of people knowing my flaws and writing me off. I soon realized this was a big fat lie!

I replaced fear, guilt, shame and doubt with confidence, grace and love. I was no longer trapped in the world of fear. I started to believe in myself again. Once the lie was exposed I was no longer bound.

Just like a child once you know something cannot harm you. It is no longer scary. You have power over it.

I encourage you to search yourself and find out what you are really afraid of. What is your fear? Just like my story I realized the fear was not real. It was all a lie.

I now have power over the shame and guilt. I can tell my story unashamed and move on with my call in life. Fear has no power! You got this. Trust the joinery.
