Inspired

Today I am inspired. Inspiration opens up my creativity. New thoughts and ideas pour into me and I feel new again.

As a writer I loose inspiration sometimes. I get writers block. Sometimes I just stop imagining and writing completely.

Finding inspiration is not always easy. The concerns of life can slow you down if you allow it. The slow down can impact your inspiration and creativity.

Today I took my two month old daughter to a doctor’s appointment. I have not driven a lot during my maternity leave. Taking a drive today and handling mommy duties truly inspired me.

After my daughter’s appointment I picked up my son from daycare. This was the first time I drove my two children by myself. People may say that’s no big deal. Or how does that inspire someone.

In that moment I felt empowered. I felt responsible. I felt happiness. I felt like I could do anything. My children were safe and I was pleased to be their mother.

A simple mom errand and a drive inspired me in a whole new way. I was reminded that I was chosen to be their mother. I am so honored and blessed to call them my children.

I have a new fire inside of me. I will become an even better mother because of this very moment. I literally feel like there is nothing I cannot do.

I encourage you to find time to get inspired. Think outside the box. See the pure beauty in your daily routines. There is inspiration everywhere.
