Direction

I am a driver that relies on my GPS a lot. If my GPS is not working I find myself discombobulated. I get nervous and tend to sweat. I find comfort in my GPS because it leads me.

Just like a GPS God has the capability to lead us. I find it difficult sometimes to trust Gods leading. I tend to enjoy my familiar paths. Taking Gods path requires trust, faith and it takes me out of my comfort zone.

When you get used to doing things a certain way it is difficult to adjust. Change is challenging. I have learned that trusting Gods leading is better for my life. My past decisions helped me lean into Gods new path for my life.

I learned from my mistakes and had to embrace direction from God and the Bible. Yes, I am a Christian and I chose to live my life this way. It is a decision that is not easy but it is rewarding.

The direction I receive helps me navigate through life and makes me a better human being. Although the path may be different from the route I used to take. I like His GPS directions better. God knows best.
